The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam

The Rijksmuseum and Etsy came together on a unique project to promote the newly added section of their website that features high res files of a large part of their collection, which is free and open for public use. A whole museums worth of beautiful imagery to use in my designs...it was an offer I could not refuse! I created a complete lingerie set (bra, panty and kimono).  I used two separate images to create these pieces. First, a section of an elaborate cabinet, made some time between 1660-1670, artisan unknown. Secondly,  an amazing oil painting by Jan Asselijn (ca. 1650) called "The Threatened Swan".
