If you're afraid of committing to a "colour scheme" in a room, this is a great option. Choose white walls, medium tone woods and a bed that goes with everything and you'll be set for years. This also allows you to indulge in the fun of grabbing new throw pillows and bedding every once in awhile...and we all know that throw pillows are to home decor what shoes are to fashion so...DECISION MADE. I am a collector. I've been accused of "almost being a hoarder". I'm pretty sure I've been this way my whole life. I'm also pretty sure this is just a physical manifestation of how my brain works, and in turn, how my creativity works. (cont'd)

For awhile now (what….like 10 years maybe? I’m totally not putting a lot of effort into this guess) white walls have been the modern decorating standard. Sure, there are always the “fun” “quirky” homes that I see here or there but let’s be real…around the early/mid 2000s most interiors focused sites/mags sort of just wanted a palette […]

Two months ago I unknowingly did an excellent thing for myself. I somehow managed in one fell swoop to calm my busy mind of negative ideas of beauty and aging. It’s actually been so effective as to be somewhat disconcerting, I mean… I did it accidentally. It makes me wonder; what other perfect solutions am I one step away […]

When it comes to how I feel about personal style/street style blogs, I go through phases. I’ve written about this a bit before as well… SO MANY FEELS YOU GUYS. To recap: When I first started reading fashion blogs and checking out street style sites (around 2004/2005 I guess?) they totally blew my mind. Prior […]

As a person who is now in the process of moving to the US those feels are also amplified and then folded in half, twisted around and smacked a few times for good measure. Basically...I'm an anxiety ridden distracted mess. KEEP READING HERE

The Heather Grey Sweatshirt. A modern staple. Really, you can’t have too much heather grey in your life. I literally have an entire drawer for heather grey items. IT’S A NECESSITY, OK?! Although my designs for Norwegian Wood are generally known to be a colourful print-tastic […] CLICK THE TITLE TO READ MORE

When I find a super high quality vintage item, I start feeling a lot of feels.
Part of me is obviously psyched to have scored a great item I’ve been on the hunt for. Part of me actually goes insane as I become paranoid that the price was wrong, or somebody’s about to scoop it right out from under me. But once the item is safely in my hands there’s that other part of me that is slowly getting really angry. CLICK THE TITLE TO READ MORE

To be honest, I'm really hit or miss when it comes to interviews. It's hard to put your finger right on it, but there are a lot of factors that go into making an interview go well...or not. It's sort of like real life, you can only plan for it so much and beyond that you just try to be yourself and hope for the best. Which leads me to sometimes answer totally normal and innocuous questions in very abnormal ways. LYFE IS HARD FRIENDS. READ THE INTERVIEW HERE
